How long have you been racing?

      Since October 2007.

 

How often do you race?

      Every Chance I get; 2 times a week.

 

Other than our track, what are your favorite BMX tracks? Why?

      Rebhien’s Arena in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. It is a small but fast track.

 

How did you become interested in racing BMX bikes?

      My dad used to race and my sister started racing.

 

What about the sport has kept you interested and made you want to continue to race BMX bikes?

      Having fun and making friends.

 

What parts of racing comes naturally to you? What do you feel you need to work on?

      Speed and being out of control. I need to work on cornering and braking.

 

What other sports or activities do you participate in? Do these sports or activities help you with your racing? How?

      Dance and Girl Scouts

 

What are your accomplishments so far in BMX racing?

      Finishing races, 3rd at Rebhien’s.

 

What are your short-term and long-term goals in BMX?

      Short term, I want to win a race.  Long term, I would like to earn a state plate.

 

What do your friends and kids at school think about your racing BMX bikes?

      They think it’s funny a girl races.

 

Who are people you look up to and why?

      The older kids at the track who always help me.
