How long have you been racing?

      Since July 2006  

 

How often do you race?

      Weekly    

 

Other than our track, what are your favorite BMX tracks? Why?

      East Moline, it’s the only other one I’ve been on.

 

How did you become interested in racing BMX bikes?

      Just drove by and it looked interesting. I love watching racing and thought it would be fun.

 

What about the sport has kept you interested and made you want to continue to race BMX bikes?

      The friends I’ve made and the competition also.

 

What parts of racing comes naturally to you? What do you feel you need to work on?

      I just like to go fast in everything I do, but I like going through the rollers. That’s fun.

      I need to work on getting out of the gate faster.

 

What other sports or activities do you participate in? Do these sports or activities help you with your racing? How?

      I like to play soccer. I think that keeps my legs strong and makes me faster on my feet.

 

What are your accomplishments so far in BMX racing?

      Getting the #1 LEAP plate for the Des Moines track. 

 

What are your short-term and long-term goals in BMX?

      Short term would be winning more races. Long term would be moving up to novice when I am ready.

 

What do your friends and kids at school think about your racing BMX bikes?

      I have lots of friends interested in it. They think it’s pretty cool because most of them play soccer,

      football or basketball. I’m the only one that races my bike.

 

Who are people you look up to and why?

      Sam White – he’s pretty cool. He has awesome jumps.
